Ticktock, ticktock…the clock is ticking down on the big Supernatural deal that sends our boy Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) down to hell in exchange for the life of little bro Sam (Jared Padalecki). Can they undo the contract before it’s too late? The time to determine these things is drawing nigh—yet another reason to love sweeps—so to get a few hints about the outcome, plus a smidgen of insight into Supernatural’s fourth season, join me for a brief interrogation of boss Eric Kripke.

• What’s left to learn about Lauren Cohan’s Bella

• What stories were left behind in the wake of the writers’ strike

• What fans can expect from next season’s adventures

• Keep reading for the answers to these Q’s and more!

What’s in store for us on this Thursday’s episode, “Time Is on My Side”?
We continue to ramp up the tension around Dean’s upcoming deadline of whether or not he will be going to hell.

I assume the drama is extended to the finale though…
Yes, there’s a good chance they’ll fail to save Dean on Thursday. His soul is coming due, and the boys are getting more desperate, trying to find ways to stop it. This episode is about them trying two very different, desperate methods to save Dean. Then on top of that, it’s sort of tied in with a really creepy urban legend about a couple-of-centuries-old doctor living in the woods on the East Coast who basically keeps himself alive by stealing organs…We’re kind of delving into that, and it’s definitely one of our creepiest episodes. There’s a lot of surgery while your still alive and maggots, so that’s really good times. And then we really climax our Bella storyline for the season. Lauren comes in…

Musical Jensen? May 06, 2008

From ja_fanwoman:

Okay, so it seems Jensen is getting more open about his musical talents with his friends of late. We’ve already been blessed with his performance with Jason Manns (you can still get the single off Jason’s Myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/mannsmusic)

, and we know that Jensen has, in the past, sung backing vocals on Steve’s ‘Spot In the Corner’ album …

… and now we have Jensen with co-writer credit on two of the tracks on Steve’s new album which, although it isn’t out to purchase yet, can be listened to here: http://www.stevecarlson.com/

Behind The Scenes of Long Distance Call May 02, 2008

Here is final footage from BuddyTV’s behind-the-scenes look at last night’s episode. Hope you like it!

I’m not objective about last night’s episode of Supernatural. I know many of you fans loved it because of the great emotional moments with Dean (Jensen Ackles), but for me, “Long-Distance Call” will forever be the episode I got to see first-hand. I’m a bit obsessive when it comes to TV, DVRing all my schedule shows well in advance, scheduling my entire life around the many shows I have to watch (not want to, have to). So to actually see talented people create something I love so much was an experience I never though I’d have.

It doesn’t hurt that I got to watch a really good show get made. Though I wasn’t an original fan, I’ve fallen quite hard for Supernatural, and I owe it all to this job and you, the passionate fans who convinced me this show was something special.
On the day I visited the set, they were filming most of the motel room scenes. First up was the incredibly long scene when Dean goes on about weather patterns, and needing to believe that his dad really does now how to save him. The second was the beautiful final scene. When we left at 8pm, the crew and Jensen were prepping the scene in the motel bathroom where he was

Supernatural’ Autographed Photo Giveaway May 01, 2008

After last week’s stand-alone episode, Supernatural is back again tonight for some Dean-centric goodness.

In tonight’s episode, entitled “Long-Distance Call,” Dean (Jensen Ackles) is stunned after he receives a phone call from his dad (guest star Jeffrey Dean Morgan) who tells him he has a solution to get Dean out of his deal. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean fight because Sam is skeptical that it is really John on the other end of the phone and warns Dean not to listen to him but Dean disagrees and sets off on his own path to follow his father’s orders.

As soon as you finish watching tonight’s episode, be sure to log onto BuddyTV because we have got another round of great prizes for you! Read on to see what you can win.

First Look at “Long-Distance Caller” May 01, 2008

Last week’s episode of Supernatural, “Ghostfacers,” certainly wasn’t for everyone. I proudly declared my love for Sam and Dean’s reality show debut, but other fans thought that it was an unnecessary waste of time, especially coming so close to the end of the season. Those who didn’t embrace “Ghostfacers” will be happy to hear that tomorrow night’s episode, “Long-Distance Caller,” gets back to normal and moves Dean’s impending doom back to the forefront. It also features a special appearance from Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and there’s not a Supernatural fan out there that isn’t excited about that idea.

To prepare for “Long-Distance Caller,” we have two exciting clips from the episode……..

Supernatural: The Ghostfacers Apr 22, 2008

WARNING the following MAY contain spoilers. Continue at your own risk!

It seems like the folks at the CW are having a good time promoting this week’s return of Supernatural. The episode, entitled “Ghostfacers,” finds Sam and Dean showing up on a television series similar to Ghost Hunters, and it’s definitely a departure from the show’s usual structure and filming style. This first post-strike installment reunites the Winchesters with the bumbling hunters from season 1’s “Hell House,” and it’s filmed as though it’s an actual paranormal reality series.

To get into the faux-reality style, the network has launched Ghostfacers.com. The website features training tips, exclusive videos, a fake movie trailer, and even the official, and completely addictive, “Ghostfacers” theme song.

The characters of Harry and Ed definitely left a lasting, hilarious impression when they showed up in “Hell House.” This time they’ll be joined by three more Ghostfacers: Maggie, Corbett, and Spruce. The site contains video interviews with each member of the team where they discuss what scares them, what skills are needed to face ghosts, and what they really think about Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester. One of the hunters likens the Winchesters to a “ball itch,” which isn’t the most flattering comparison.

My two favorite aspects of the website are the movie trailer and the “Ghostfacers” theme song. The trailer is for a non-existent slasher flick called Hell Hazers II: The Reckoning, which is supposedly directed by Supernatural producer McG. As for the theme song, it’s the type of catchy ditty (”Ghost…ghostfacers!”) that you won’t be able to get out of your head.

“Ghostfacers” airs Thursday at 9pm on the CW. To keep yourself busy until then, head on over to Ghostfacers.com for all of the hilarious extras.
